Help: How much you know about Valparaíso?

Hey there, i'm currently working on an identity work about Valparaíso (Chile), and i need to know some global concepts about it. My point of view about that city is very different as a Tourist, because i've been there many times. And since my work consists in an International Event in 2010 I'd like to know how foreign people see this city.

So i'd be very grateful if you could share your thoughts with me, anything you can say about Valparaíso can help me.
